Baby Signing Club
Following the guidelines of SIGN with your BABY author and expert Joseph Garcia, we show you how you can communicate easily with your baby, long before speech is possible. By introducing basic signs like, eat, drink, milk, more, finished, etc, you will understand many of your baby's basic needs. Simple two-way communication reduces a lot of frustration and anxiety, especially for first time parents. It is a bonding process, empowers babies and helps raise their self esteem at a very early age.
It takes around two months, sometimes a little longer, for a seven-month baby to respond to your signs. When they do their pleasure in realising that they can communicate with you is very obvious. Signing does not hinder speech, rather the reverse. Research suggests that signing babies speak well and enjoy a richer vocabulary.
This is not a classroom experience for you or your baby. It is fun and becomes part of daily life. You learn signs just before your baby. By repeating each sign in the right situation you will soon understand what your baby wants.
SIGN with your BABY has already been used successfully by thousands of parents in the UK. It has been reviewed on radio and television and featured in many newspapers and magazines.
